Alfredo González Rostgaard, Guantánamo, 1943-2004.
Painter, designer, drawer. He graduated from the Plastic Arts School of Santiago de Cuba. He worked as a designer at OSPAAL and artistic director of Tricontinental Magazine. He collaborated with ICAIC between 1966 and 1970. He was a designer of Pensamiento Critico Magazine. He made posters for UNEAC, Casa de Las Americas and other political and cultural institutions. Many of his posters are considered paradigms of the Cuban design produced since 1959. He has participated in many national and international events.
